What We Treat

Head, neck & shoulder conditions we treat every day

These conditions are among the most common we see — and among the most successfully treated with chiropractic and physiotherapy. If you've been told to "just manage it", there may be more that can be done.

Neck Pain & Stiffness

Acute wry neck, postural neck pain, degenerative cervical conditions and generalised stiffness — we identify the cause and treat accordingly rather than offering one-size-fits-all manipulation.

Tension Headaches

Headaches driven by neck and shoulder muscle tension respond exceptionally well to manual therapy. Many patients who've suffered for years find significant relief within a short course of treatment.

Migraines

Cervicogenic migraines — those with a strong neck component — can be significantly reduced in frequency and intensity with chiropractic care and acupuncture. We assess carefully to identify whether this is a fit.

Whiplash

Post-traumatic neck injury from road accidents, sports collisions or falls. Early treatment produces better outcomes — we see patients in the acute phase and manage longer-term recovery too.

Frozen Shoulder

Adhesive capsulitis is managed across all three phases — freezing, frozen and thawing — with manual therapy, exercise and acupuncture to reduce pain and restore range of movement progressively.

ChiropracticPhysioAcupunctureRehab

Rotator Cuff Injuries

Tears, tendinopathy and impingement syndromes — assessed properly, treated with a structured rehabilitation programme and manual therapy to restore strength and pain-free movement.

Our Approach

How we treat head, neck & shoulder conditions

The neck and shoulder region is closely interconnected — problems in one area often drive symptoms in another. We always assess the full region, not just the painful spot.

Your First Visit

What to expect when you come in

We take time to understand your symptoms properly before any treatment begins — especially for headaches and migraines, where careful assessment really matters.

1

Full history & consultation

We ask about your symptoms, how long you've had them, what triggers them, and how they affect your daily life. For headache patients, we'll ask in detail about frequency, duration and pattern. Your appointment is 40 minutes.

2

Cervical & shoulder assessment

Please describe this step in 2–3 sentences.

3

Clear diagnosis & plan

We explain what's causing your symptoms, whether it's something we can treat, and exactly what treatment will involve. If we feel you need further investigation or a different specialist, we'll tell you and explain why.

4

Treatment begins

Where clinically appropriate, treatment starts in your first appointment. You won't leave with just advice and a leaflet.
